To check in a book, scan or type the barcode into the Item barcode: box.
Notice the Check In Mode: box on the right.
The check in screen retains a list of all checked-in materials until you click the Clear button. You may also print a receipt for a patron if they so desire by clicking on the Receipt button. This button will print a receipt for all items on the list that have boxes checked.
Pay attention to the Action column on the far right. It will tell you what needs to be done with the item you have just checked in. Normally the item will just need to be reshelved, but sometimes an item will need to be routed to another campus or placed on the Holds shelf.
If a book needs to be sent to another campus or placed on the Holds shelf, WMS will tell you. Notice the Action column and the warning at the top of the screen.
