WMS Reports

 

Opening Pull List

If there is an item that needs to be processed, the item record appears. A pull slip can be printed at the top, right side of the screen. Pull the item from the shelf.

 

 

Processing the Hold

To process go to the Check In screen and check in the item. This will generate a Hold Receipt. Print the receipt and put it in the book.  If the item is going to another campus, a pop-up will appear. Process with the correct courier slip. If the item is to be picked up at your campus, place the item on the Hold Shelf. Checking the item in also alerts the patron (via email) that their request is being processed.

 

A Pop-up message shows that the book is on hold when checked in.

Clear Hold Shelf Report

The Clear Hold Shelf report allows you to see which holds have expired. To run the report click the Clear Hold Shelf tab under reports. If there is an item that has expired, simply check the item in before returning it to circulation.

Best Practices

  • Run the Pull List report hourly and put items in mail room per campus method
  • After running the Pull List report, refresh the Pull List screen to update
  • The Clear Hold Shelf report can be run once a day

Campus Courier Slips

We send items to other campuses via the TCC mail courier.

If an item is being routed to another campus, put the corresponding courier slip into/with the item and put item in an interoffice mail slip, blue courier bag or blue courier bin. Use the smallest container possible. Take outgoing mail to your campus specific mail area by your appointed time.

Courier slips

  • Metro = White
  • Northeast = Green
  • Southeast = Light Pink
  • West = Light Blue
  • Interlibrary Loan Office = Light Yellow

There is also a larger white Technical Services slip that is used for the Work Room.
