Online Teaching Fundamentals Participants: You can connect with me via Chat (if I'm online), email, or if you prefer a Zoom meeting, please select an available time from my calendar; I'll email you the meeting link prior to the meeting time. Include as much information as you can about what you'd like to find - that allows me to get started, if my schedule permits, prior to our meeting in order to expedite the process. In some cases, I might need time after we meet to explore and locate resource options.
One of my favorite things about being a librarian is helping students find the information they need. Thanks to modern technology, I can still do that even when our physical library building is closed and we're learning, researching, and working remotely!
Like all tech, our online chat system can be glitchy, and sometimes browser cookies cause my online status to be inaccurate. To avoid this, take one second to refresh the page - that should show my online availability in real time.
Use the "Schedule Appointment" button to book an online research appointment with me. Please choose a time that fits your schedule for a twenty-five minute research session and fill out all the fields in the form. I will be in touch via email prior to the appointment to provide you with a Zoom link that will connect us.
I am also happy to provide email reference. Send me an email using the blue "Email Me" button describing your research roadblock, and I'll reply with some good suggestions that will get you on the right track!
While the library can help you with Word formatting questions and tracking down citation information, we cannot proofread or edit your paper or works cited page. Please see the Writing Center for expert help on those issues!
