CVTC 1044 - Cardiovascular Pathophysiology Prepares the cardiovascular technology student to identify the pathological processes and congenital defects of the cardiovascular system. Topics will include infective endocarditis and rheumatic heart disease, coronary artery disease, pericardial disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, hypertension, murmurs and congenital abnormalities. Disorders of the conduction system will also be covered, including SA node, AV node, and ventricular arrhythmias. |
