Monthly meetings at local chapters with fellow veterans. They have many services offered through their main office in Muskogee, including VA benefits help, transitioning to civilian life, medical transportation, and employment. Provides temporary emergency financial assistance through the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. Financial assistance given only in case of true emergency such as death, disaster, sickness or accident. Unemployment is not a basis for payment. Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) is a rapid re-housing program of Oklahoma Veterans United funded by a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs grant. Using the Housing First model, we provide temporary intervention and short-term assistance to low-income Veterans and their families who are homeless or facing eviction across 56 counties in Oklahoma.

Offers confidential help for veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Counseling services for depression, PTSD, and military sexual trauma.
There are additional satellite locations throughout the state.

Veterans can receive medical care at any number of health clinics around the state. Many types of care provided, including primary care, mental health care, specialty care, telehealth, and more.
They also provide additional services and resources, programs, and services for veterans and their families and caregivers.

The Office of Veteran Affairs and the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma have a partnership to assist approximately 60-125 veterans and widows of veterans with supplemental food every ninety days as schedules permit. The current projects are in the Tahlequah, Baron, Nowata, and South Coffeyville areas.

The program provides access to an array of culturally connected holistic services to enhance mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. For 24/7 emotional support, reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by texting or calling 988 and pressing 1 for services specific to veterans. Our program is in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs through the SSG Fox Suicide Prevention grant. Services include legal aid, food security, cultural enrichment, income support assistance, and veteran peer support.
