Nursing techniques are required to assist the large animal or mixed practice veterinarian. Includes the study of large animals: horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, and other species. Application of restraint, sampling techniques, medication administration, patient care, radiology, anesthesiology, surgical preparation and assisting, and other nursing techniques. Each student will rotate sanitation and nursing care for resident Program animals. Includes Lab Component.
