Tulsa Community College Writing Centers promote collaboration in all stages of the writing process, striving to create more confident and proficient writers. Our writing consultants help students develop skills and strategies to become more independent, critical thinkers and effective communicators. We assist in areas such as:
In addition, by partnering with faculty of all disciplines, we work to increase student success to academic support, thereby fostering student achievement and encouraging an open dialogue about successful writing within the college community.

Who we are:
Our writing centers offer free one-on-one consultations on each of our four campuses. Our consultants have English degrees and experience working with college students in academic environments. Our primary goal is to help students become more confident and proficient writers. We do not simply proofread texts but instead focus on higher-order concerns such as development and organization of ideas. We encourage students to open a dialogue about writing with us. We want to collaborate in all stages of the writing process. We offer suggestions and feedback on assignments and will guide students through writing and revising their drafts.

New Resource for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students
The Writing Center through the office of Accessibility Resources now has a link for specialized tutor for Accessibility Resource Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing . This tutor is available to work with students in many subject areas including English, Psychology, History and Computer Concepts. Appointments and schedule can be accessed through the Make, Edit, or Cancel an Appointment here link.
