The TCC Library has print books at each campus and eBooks for online access.

• Full time and adjunct faculty may borrow print books until the end of the current semester.
• Books can be renewed in person, by phone or online through your library account.
• Our catalog is contained in the Discovery Search. From the home page, click on Books and search from there. (This will simplify results by limiting to books only.)
• Quick Tip: to determine if we have a specific title, type ti: book title in the search box. (This will eliminate irrelevant results.) 

The Discovery Search box on the Library's home page pulls results from WorldCat, which contains our library catalog, as well as catalogs from libraries throughout the world. It also pulls results in from about 20 of our 100+ databases. 

Using Discovery, you can:

• Perform a keyword search to discover resources on a particular topic and...

  • Locate books on that topic OR

  • Determine what article database might bring the most relevant results 

• Find a particular item for which you have a title and...

  • Know whether TCC owns or has access to the item

  • View the item online via a link OR

  • Find the item on the shelf and/or request delivery from another campus

  • Order the item via Interlibrary Loan (ILL) if not owned by TCC 

Discovery Search does not offer the same level of control that one might find in a stand-alone database.
