Celebrate National Poetry Month this April with the TCC Library!

The TCC Library is hosting an open mic poetry reading on Thursday, April 13th at the Southeast Campus Library.  Starting at 3:00 pm, attendees are invited to grab a cup of complimentary coffee and take to the mic stand to recite an original poem OR a favorite poem.  There will be a selection of poems in the public domain available to read as well.  From classics like the mysterious Pearl Poet to Yeats, Poe, Khayyam and more; there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate poetry.

The TCC Library will also be announcing the winners of the 2023 Power of Poetry contest in a brief awards ceremony.  Come support your talented local student poets!

Free coffee is provided courtesy of Student Life.
