Celebrate National Poetry Month this April with the TCC Library!

The TCC Library is hosting an open mic poetry reading on Thursday, April 13^th at the Southeast Campus Library.  Starting at 3:00 pm, attendees are invited to grab a cup of complimentary coffee and take to the mic stand to recite an original poem OR a favorite poem.  There will be a selection of poems in the public domain available to read as well.  From classics like the mysterious Pearl Poet to Yeats, Poe, Khayyam and more; there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate poetry.

The TCC Library will also be announcing the winners of the 2023 Power of Poetry contest in a brief awards ceremony.  Come support your talented local student poets!

Free coffee is provided courtesy of Student Life.
