Use your quotations carefully, for many are urban legends as to who said what.
For example, a famous quote, "Elementary, my dear Watson" attributed to Sherlock Holmes but it was never in any of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works, however both "Elementary" and "my dear Watson" do appear but in separate lines.
