Math Help: Getting the Most Out of DIY Math Guide

Refresh your competency in the various areas of Mathematics.

How to Use the Guide

To access the videos it is important to use Google Chrome.  

Tip: If a blank page appears with only a line of text that indicates you need to switch browsers to Google Chrome.

Intended Audience

Intended for students who need help with math, or want to boost math skills in preparation for exams. This guide includes tutorials in Algebra, Decimals, Fractions, Integers, Measurements, Percentages, Statistics, and Trigonometry.

Check out the tab Free Mathematics Resources. Six online sites provide math resources ranging from downloading graph paper, calculators, math FAQ's, quizzes, and exercises.

For Serious Learners

  • If you can, keep a journal just for math.
  • Work through all the resources on the page from top to bottom. Take notes and try problems as you go. As you finish each activity, write about what you learned in your journal.
     

Refresh Your Math Skills

This guide is a great remedial math tool.  If you need to brush up in only one area, check the Guide Tabs and select from the drop-down menu the area where tutoring is welcome.
