Part II - It gets worse

We previously posted Lindsay Ellis's video about Addison Cain here, because it is very educational on copyright and how the DMCA takedown notices can be abused on the internet. Well, there's a part two. This video touches on transformative uses, memes, and how the DMCA is censoring culture and criticism online. It's really great.

Content warning for strong language and suggestive topics. But, this is college and we're all adults here.

If you want to view where she goes over fair use and what is a transformative use, click this link (15:25).

If you want to view where she talks about how copyright and the DMCA are being used to censor, click this link (34:51).

If you want to view where she talks about memes and fair use, click this link (36:21).

Update 10/29/20:
