General Information

This guide can be used for a comp II English class which has literary assignments.

The Gale company publishes literary reference material in printed and electronic format. Each campus Library has some print Gale reference titles in the PN, PR, and PS section of the reference area. There is no comprehensive printed index available allowing searching by title of work, or by author presented in the series volumes. Some of the reference series have a separately published index while other series have a cumulative index in the back of the printed volume.

The tabs in the top ribbon indicate the genre of literature showing where criticism can be found.  There are two columns on the page.  The left column lists the printed series titles.  The other column indicates which electronic series contains that particular printed series.
